Walpole Co-operative Bank to Host Free Shred Day in October

Walpole Co-operative Bank will be hosting a free shred day on Saturday, October 3.

From nine a.m. to noon, customers and community members are invited to stop by the Bank’s parking lot at 982 Main Street to safely and securely dispose of unwanted documents. Items will be shredded on site in the Bank’s parking lot with the help of Proshred.

Individuals are limited to three boxes or bags per person, and shreddable documents can include: statements or bills, old mail, cancelled checks, pay stubs, and receipts.

The following items will not be accepted: original copies of personal identifiers, deeds and titles, metal, boxes, media, and wet items.

Shredding will occur until the truck is full. If the truck fills up before noon, the event will end early.
