Walpole Co-operative Bank Donates Clock to Commemorate Walpole’s 300th Anniversary

This month, the town of Walpole, Massachusetts, completed the building of a new patio and installation of a new, antique-style clock in the Town Common, near the C.S. Bird Fountain.

The clock and hardscape were made possible thanks to a donation from Walpole Co-operative Bank, made in 2024 to celebrate a significant milestone, the town’s 300th anniversary. The donation covered all costs for the clock and hardscape, as well as a fund for future maintenance and repairs.

“Walpole Co-operative Bank is proud to share in the town’s rich history and to have contributed to this significant milestone. Since 1912, the Bank has upheld its mission of creating a positive, lasting impact within our community. Our support of the clock project is just one demonstration of this commitment, and we look forward to continuing to serve Walpole for years to come,” said Paul Chaggaris, President and CEO of Walpole Co-operative Bank.
