Joseph V. Scholl, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Walpole Co-operative Bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick M. Cucinotta as the Bank’s next President and CEO. Cucinotta’s appointment will become effective upon the retirement of Paul M. Chaggaris, the Bank’s current president and CEO on February 1, 2026.
Since 2023, Cucinotta has served as the Bank’s Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, overseeing the Bank’s long-term growth and cash management flow. As an accomplished executive leader, he holds over 20 years of experience in banking and auditing.

I am confident that with his skills and experience, he will be able to help the Bank continue to grow and support our community,” said Scholl.
Cucinotta holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Fitchburg State University and also has a Banking and Financial Studies certificate from the New England School of Financial Studies. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Accountants.
