The Friends of St. Patrick Name Walpole Co-operative Bank as 2019 “Person” of the Year

Since their founding in 1987, The Friends of St. Patrick have been dedicated to helping neighbors and celebrating those who do the same through their annual Person of the Year award and annual luncheon.

Recently, the Friends announced a unique and unprecedented choice for the 2019 award recipient – Walpole Co-operative Bank.

“We are so proud to nominate Walpole Co-operative Bank as the 2019 Person of the Year. The Bank has been a vital part of the community, often serving as catalyst to jump start community projects or ensure they come to fruition. They are the first to step up, but often among the last to be recognized,” said Donnell W. Murphy, President of the Friends of St. Patrick.

Located in the heart of Walpole, Walpole Co-operative Bank is a community bank with the heart and commitment to have a positive impact not just on its customers, but also on all members of the community. The support the organization and its valued employees provide to the community is diverse. With volunteerism and donations, the Bank helps a variety of non-profit organizations carry out their missions.
