Walpole Co-operative Bank collects Toys for Tots
Employees and customers of Walpole Co-operative Bank showed true holiday spirit this year, donating well over 350 gifts to the annual U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots campaign.
The Bank served as a collection point for the gifts, which were picked up by the Marines and distributed to less fortunate youngsters in the community.
The Marine Corps Reserve has organized and sponsored the Toy for Tots project nationwide at Christmas every year since 1948.
"We were delighted with the response of our staff and customers to our Toys for Tots campaign," said Joseph V. Scholl, Walpole Co-operative Bank President and CEO. "And we are proud of the Marine Corps Reserve for their ongoing commitment to the success of this meaningful program, which helps so many deserving families during the holiday season."
